Thoughts as I stare at the back of your head

Fifth period, a living hell of a class.
But if everything is set correctly,
It becomes heaven.
For if chin rests on hand, and elbow on desk,
And a stare is directed at the front corner,
I am gone. To another place. With you, of course.
The fluorescent lights hum,
casting their overly bright radiance on the back
of your head. Thats usually all I see of you.
Just the back of your head, and if you turn,
I catch a glimpse of those long eyelashes.
The drone of the lights is like an intoxicating drug,
slowing everything down, helping to drown out the noise.
I sink into my own world, with you.
It's a world of reciprocated love,
of gentle words, and even more gentle touches.
And there are only two of us. As it should be.
But alas, it all must end. And I am left with
nothing,
as I stare at the back of your head.

Just thought I'd leave a note explaining this poem. I sit behind and to the left of a guy I'm quite fond of (if it hasn't been made obvious)in my 5th period biology class. And so, this is what happens when I zone out.

Loved this, reminded me of a girl who say three rows in front, and when she tilted and i caught a glimpse of her naked neck, i was off and away to that special place
