bored, sky is dark
no light in this room.
Blank, boredom without fail.
A day. Windy and sad.
Leaves and a cold breeze
darkness leads the way,
light follows in the depths of heaven.
Faith allows, light to seep through,
blessed be his name.
Mercy to his people.
Faithful and righteous,
boredom, new found fun.
A bible lay read.
ready to be opened again.
Pale lines running across the ceiling.
candlelight pouring across the room.
art dancing in the flame.
Warmth of love,
from wall to wall,
darkness leading the way.
Light not giving up.

** this was about a power outage yesterday from 11am to 2:20am this morning.**

Somehow, it's much more than a power outage poem. Good write, Kellie!

I like this alot!
you painted this well,
and yes, it certainly is
about much more than a power outage!

I see alot of faith.. from your words of not only a Bible.. but of light not giving up. Just faith in things going on, and on..
love it more as I keep reading it!
