Hair

Once a mane of black
the glory of your manhood
Now turning grey

Hands

Once strong,slim fingers
Agile nd very skillfull
Now twisted and weak

Walking

Once with springy step
So steady with a purpose
Now slow with a cane

Vision

Once with eagles sight
Every thing caught your attention
Now glasses aid your eyes

Life

Once you laughted at death
Thought you would live for ever
Now death is very real

Clap, Clap , Clap
I like it, I love it.
Good job. You really portrayed life getting older very well.

Hi paladin!! Yes, as they say, "youth, it's wasted on the young." Oh well...such is life. Enjoyed this. Chris

Paladin, have you ever noticed that the older we get, younger the older people seem to us? Odd, isn't it?

Once I laughed the Reaper,
now he stares and grins.

Your style always evokes a thought from
the many thought and perspectives you
share with us...  Thanx Paladin..

This is wonderfully written Robert.
If only we could figure out a way to stop
old age from creeping in and overtaking us.

I wouldn't mind getting older if I could just get rid of the aches and pains.

Hugs and a very Happy New Year.  Marti
