With but a touch upon the gate, a waterfall comes forth
And all that stores within the vessel empties
These winds that hurricane inside to velvet stillness
Black and soft

And I am not afraid of the welling that comes forth
Released these deep and simmering sounds
For I scramble to the core of you and harbor there
Warm and pink

I cannot touch the bottom or the end, or stop the surge
There is no control of this or you or what grows hot
And there is no other that can fill or empty me
Blue and still

Another day to rest this soul, and I will swim in waters warm
And think in terms of night and sleep contented in the bubbles
These winds to breezes cool in sun upon the beach
Gold and clear

I like the way you brought the breezes and beaches and velvet skies into this. I love all those scenes in my thoughts...... Thank you.

A wonderful sparkling write.
I read this while listening to the gentle water sounds trickling in a small homedics indoor waterfall.
