Icicles By: Noah Eaton 12/26/02 Pallid is the iron that's trying to smoothen these denim skies Cadaverous are the obligations any apostles can disguise To lend the Sphinx a nose, to barter for an account tucked in your bureau Which has lost everything substantial,everything confidential If only I had a cotterpin so I can augment the truth Which any underachiever finds obvious when you shove it onto And my intuition is buried like a needle in a haystack Telling tall tales that take me overseas then before you know it I'm back Time is lost Hope's a lost cause Truth is hanging from its lot Right now... Early birds don't get the worms With all these inhabitants joining these wan herds Patience is what's submerged Where we all stubbornly purge Nature follows its course But it takes an opposite force To suffice To recognize To bide tryst Cornflake elegies swim around this camembert cheese sky And my mind is like some Beaumoncel farm I work by and by I'm not insane, just a bit paranoid I implore my scars in hope to fill the void Time is lost Hope's a lost cause Truth is hanging from its lot Right now... Red doves fly all around me Like an erupting volcano ending this ice age And the icicles fall from the chapels Piercing deep into my skin Haggard reminders carving deep into me Deep into me Deep into me... i liked this too, dont konw if i understood it all, but the images stick and can lend themselves to ones own interpretation,anyhow, enjoyed this switch in style from you |
