Between a laugh and a tear...

Unspoken

Another fallen angel
one more lost friend
Can’t bear the weight
just buckle and bend

A voice is lost
deep within the tears
And a heart cries out
for one more year

A promise not made
and a heart left broken
By so few words
Left unspoken

I don't know where I'm running now, I'm just running on... ~ Jackson Browne

well I relate to this more than my heart wants to tell.
hugs to ya Poet Eddie...good to see your smiling face here.

Will the wind remember the names it has blown in the past?
With this crutch, its old age and wisdom, it whispers no ... this will be the last.

ah, if only we could hear that which needs to be said, but is not--you've captured the sadness well
