The Act of Change

I only deal with in-between
The things I’ve known the things I’ve seen
Except for that of now and after
I hang from the present rafter.

Before and after whispers mean
But never really touched my spleen
The agony of horrors crust
Is feted dust to newborn lust?

So questions toll my every goal
The osmosis of my soul
The taste of bitter, bittersweet
Lives in generations repeat

And I can only cry the lack
Although it weighs upon my back
For heart and mind can go so far
And I am not the god ptah

How sensitive can one be?
Without the sense of touch and see
Nor do I mean those picture looks
Nor testaments in those books

Each generation goes to school
And the act of change has no rule.

YOU RULE AND ARE TOO COOL FOR SCHOOL!!!!!!!

How cool can one poem be??????

I hang from the present rafter.

Before and after whispers mean
But never really touched my spleen

The agony of horrors crust
Is feted dust to newborn lust?

For heart and mind can go so far
And I am not the god ptah

Nor do I mean those picture looks
Nor testaments in those books

you rule and send us all to poetry school.
your rhymes rock and it rolls me

Will the wind remember the names it has blown in the past?
With this crutch, its old age and wisdom, it whispers no ... this will be the last.

Yes, Mr. Seymour, I think you would have no trouble at all teaching poetry. Every poem I read of yours teaches me something. I love your way of writing. It's always elegant and beautiful.
Thank you, kind Sir........

Sy

I hope you will put together a book of your poems, I would be first in line to buy one (or at least standing behind Janet Marie).  You are wise and wonderful!

JM,
Well it seems your back on a dole
And it tastes to me of jellyroll
You make me cry you make me sigh
Your words bring flowers to my eye.
You are my butterfly of deed
And exactly what I feel I need.

Sy,

Nothing like the present rafter to deal with the past and future.

I like to stay in the day! I also, like this poem.

Thanks ever for teaching us more.

Warm regards, Pat

(sigh) Yes, the world always wants everyone to change but I would rather be the same and only change the tints of the colors I wear to find some other shade to explore! (big hugggsssssss) God Bless You, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Seymour, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
