You tell me you care for me
what do I do, I care too
You ask me to listen to you
I imagine I'll hear the truth
You ask do you love me too?
I always say I do

Then you leave me waiting
for the benefits of loving you
I find myself hating
the stand up routine you use.

I'll be home at seven dear
we'll have a good evening
I'll make your favorite dish
I'll be yours for the keeping
all through the mellow night
that won't be me sleeping

Then you leave me waiting
for the benefits of loving you.
I find myself hating
the stand up routine you use.

I let you know just what I mean
and I'll always be there for you
But you got a stand up routine
and you stand me up the fool

If you said goodbye to me today
There'd still be a part of me to wait

And I'd be there waiting
for the benefits of loving you
I find myself hating
the stand up routine you use.

Tell me what should I do
I'm so inspired by you
while I find myself hating
that stand up routine you use.

The role of poetry is to utter the un-utterable; to open up
spaces of consciousness and resistance; to language oppressions; to
re-language historie

well now you really are entering my mind...
I have a routine, but I wouldn't call
it a stand up one

(big hugggssssssss) Oh Eric, my heart goes out to you, sweet friend, I hope this routine doesn't go on and on recently now and now love suprises you with such warmth and tenderness all the time! (sigh) We all wish you and your family the most merriest Christmas, God Bless You, yay!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
