“BC’s CHRISTMAS EVE”
by

~~~~
It was the night before Christmas,
and all through this here house,
I heard loud words singing out,
not in harmony, not like a mouse…
Actually it was a clatter and racket,
a lot of noise it seemed to me,
so I tip toed down the stairs,
to see whatever I could see…
The stockings were shaking around,
hung from the chimney they were,
rocking and rolling with rhythm,
I just didn’t know the activator…
There by the fireplace I found them,
two somebody’s in bright red suits,
twin Santa's I thought are what I saw,
wow, they were a couple of beauts…
Then startled I looked once again,
and could see they looked familiar,
it was Balladeer and Toerag by gosh,
with big smiles and beards aflutter…
So if you ever hear some noises,
by the Christmas tree and two appear,
it'll probably be the two of them,
with presents, and for all a short beer...
Hey, Bill! I'm sorry if we woke ya..
Toerag is a jerk!
He tried to fit inside your chimney..
That just didn't work!
His gut is so big he got stuck
If you know what I mean.
It took two hours to get him out..
At least your chimney's clean!!
And then he found your liquor cabinet
Filled with booze...oh, dear!
In no time he was filled up with
A quart of Christmas cheer!
He tried to hump the rocking horse
That we brought for your daughter.
He's dangerous when he gets filled
With anything but water.
So, Bill, I'm sorry that we woke
A fine man like yourself.
Next year I'll leave the dumb jerk home
And bring a quiet elf!!
