Joy To you and him and her and them To the homeless, the torn and the beaten To parents in homes where children never dare To the hungry and the dying in this world so unfair May you be blessed on this Christmas day To the road that leads the prodigals home To the birds that relive songs of joy reborn To the silent night amidst candles of carols To the flowers blooming out of frost and snows May you bring joy and hope that remains Merry Christmas to the victims of terrorist's rage Merry Christmas to the world that strive for peace Merry Christmas to the refugees and the poor Merry Christmas may God stand by your door Merry Christmas and give peace a chance Respond to my call and let the waves of my heart fill your life with the wonders of love |
