tonight I am
eyes closed awake
in black lace thoughts,
where words become
witchy woman potions
slow massaging senses
until,
I can feel the candle burn
and melt
into liquid-slide
on the smooth side
of midnight's ride

time travels fast
in the crystal ball

so long spent
in time's warp,
wondering of you..about you,
sneaking silent reads
of your mind magic;

now approaches the spell,
time is near
for these eyes
to wander through you,
touch,
feel,
taste you

time is near
for the witchy woman's
magic carpet ride--
seduce her mind
and she will
belong to you

so long spent
in time's warp,
wondering of you..about you,

The whole poem was great Sandpiper, but I think those were my favourite lines.

The soul would have no rainbows, had the eyes no tears.

Sandpiper,

Very creative. But, those last four lines says it all.  Enjoyed.

Warm regards, Pat
