Shadows Flicker, Candles Fail

I dreamt of moons and rose red blooms,
of laughter ringing in the air.
In moonless, frigid, silent rooms
I dreamt of moons and rose red blooms.
Ice petals shatter, winter looms,
but still I sing in soft despair.
I dreamt of moons and rose red blooms,
of laughter ringing in the air.

Not only is this beautiful, but very unique.
I loved the softness of this and the repetition added to that gentleness.  Just LOVELY!

Thank you, Diamond. You're very kind.

Christian, I like the title better than the poem, myself.

Thank you, Magnus. I meant this one to be soft.

Hey, Noah! I can always count on you!

Thanks, Pat, 'pretty' is a compliment I always like to hear.

Hi, hoot-owl, I'm glad you like it.

Thank you, midnitesun, I rewrote this one several times before I was satisfied with it. I'm glad you like it.

You have created a nice melody with this poem the way you have used this rhyme scheme and the well-placed repititions...it reads beautifully
