CHRISTMAS MOURNING

A remembrance
Of childhood dreams
Wrapped in black lace
Dwelling beneath my tear- stained
Face

Childish we
Laughter and holly
Sweet innocent kindred chase
Ignorant of the deep red
Trace

Growing up
Speeding trough time
Following the red line
Bliss whizz to sadness and
Decline

Here again
This jolly season
Quiet solely and yearning
I slumber awake to christmas
Mourning

Mourning the times of your past?
Happy holidays to you, and peaceful blissful thoughts.

I thought this interesting and I usually don't identify the meaning or intent of the writer. So I think and feel this is the mourning of Christ.
Even now as we celebrate His birthday who can forget His horrible death.
Anyway, this works for me...
and made me think.....Enjoyed a great deal.

Hugs and warm regards, Pat
