Tawdry
    verbosity
        chokes.

Doublespeak
   doesn't yield
           twice as much truth
nor does it
              double the People's listening power.

You really do reap
what you sow.
Listen to the People
speaking into the wind.
Sometimes you'll find
answers blowing there
that you overlooked,
maybe you'll hear
the silent whispers
amongst the loud cries.
Listen to the cries
for Peace.
They get louder each day.

Thanks for passing by, shadowy one.

For those without dictionaries:
lextalinosis = the law of retaliation, whereby a punishment resembles the offense committed, in kind and dgree.

I learned a new word. I don't remember who said it, but it was on a bumper sticker, and I liked it. It said, "an eye for an eye makes the world blind" or something really close to that anywhow.... so umm I liked this one

'...maybe you'll hear

Oh, this spoke to me so clearly and  may we all scream loudly as to be heard in Washington and 'round the world.

Thank you for this .... Hugs, Marti

Let our love circle the world and
bring Peace to all this Holiday Season.
