The night ended with a slap a cold sting of harsh words ricocheting against the wall ringing in my head bruising my ego my heart is swollen today beating with a limp perhaps more ice to numb the pain so I can smile through my tears and hide them that way pretending it never happened and I won't have to feel anything anymore~ |

sweetheart, life is too short to not feel anything...this is a painful write as I can relate so well...please see that you are worth more and take care of #1. Maybe it's time to move on to "anything more". |

 No amount of ice will take away the pain of the word stings. Hopefully time and distance will lessen the impact. |

Well...time heals but it doesn't always erase. I will always admire your courage to face your past. And you do it with such clarity. Here's to sweeter times and a wonderful relationship. Miss ya' and Merry Christmas. If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. |
