Blossoming red hibiscus
in cool December breeze
Dance of darkening clouds
Framing the blue horizon
Where ocean kisses the sky

Sailing sunsets of pure gold
will soon sift into silver
when Winter opens its door
where Autumn used to reside
behind closed doors.

I'd like to be
your warmest Winter.
Come fall into
the cozy fireplace of me
crackling and sparking together
behind closed doors….
We can create our own Summer.

Poetry is:
Passion, imagination and intellect running together.

Aloha with warmest regards, Cheryl Stewart Koomoa

Don't think you'll need an RSVP on this invitation--lovely!

The embers glowing in wait
of one moment, is their fate.
A fire that will be burning
till the hour is surely late.

Excellent write Cher,  yeah NO RSVPs on
this one...
