Not a Mused

Hard to write without a muse.
No words come for me to use.
My ideas are blank and cold.
I have no story to be told.
My pen is emptied dry .
I can't even try..

Scorpio,

When all else fails, write about nothing, and end up with a good poem.

I like!

Scorpio, I liked it. You really can write about anything, can't you? That takes a lot of talent, you know.

A malady that strikes without warning,
with no known cure....  Seems to be
tempered by persistence and stubborn
approach...

Well known and feared among poetry circles.

Been there, done that,  Don't wanna do it
again!!!!

Good Luck...

You know Scorpio..this is an excellent write!
Perhaps your muse has just taken a Christmas vacation.
It happens to all of us at some time or another.
Don't let it worry you...it'll come back.
In the meantime keep up the great work.

(sigh) Oh Scorpio, this is so touching, sweet friend, don't worry, we all have these times and soon your gorgeous muse will blossom again and only grow! (sigh) I have been busy lately so I haven't gotten to write as much but now I am free, yay, this is sincere, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Scorpio, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

scorpio~
Ya know...some of the best poetry comes from
the proverbial missing muse, and this is no exception.
A very nice write and I enjoyed it.

been there too..but the prodigal muse does return, most often when least expected!!

Don't you just love persnickity muses?
There they are, sitting on your shoulder,
adding weight to your thoughts,
but the pen is dry...

Not to worry, Scorpio...
she won't remain quiet for long,
I promise!

so...when all else fails..we write about not writing..sometimes the pen IS mightier than the muse

perhaps your muse is on the beach with mine

Will the wind remember the names it has blown in the past?
With this crutch, its old age and wisdom, it whispers no ... this will be the last.
