Now old, the reindeer barely fly,
so Christmas will be slow this year.
Keep up your tree at least 'til March.
You'll get your presents, do not fear.

If Santa would just lose some weight,
the sleigh could likely leave the ground,
but he can't push his plate away.
He only gets more big around.

He wore down all his teeth to gums,
so had to get a store-bought pair
and now he's about worn those out.
He doesn't seem to really care.

Five hundred and 12 pounds of fat,
looks like white-bearded elephant.
Next year, another hundred pounds,
he once tried dieting, but he can't.

So please be patient, he'll get there
and show compassion for his plight.
Though late, your presents will arrive,
just so much slower, without flight.

Auguste!  For shame!  LOL...Santa gets around fairly well...he's had hundreds and hundreds of years of practice!  But you made me grin, and after this day...I needed that!  Who said vacation days were fun...I've been on the run from the beginning of O-dark-thirty!

Okay Michael...I'm giggling!
But..I do believe the rotund one will arrive
just in time to make all the boys and girls happy again this year.
Maybe we shouldn't let my sister Nightshade see this...
It just may upset her seeing that she still sits up all night waiting for the jolly old elf!

Michael !! Santa's not coming till March?!! Oh no... and his teeth are all but gone.... This is just like the time my sister Enchantress had to carry me back home from the pumpkin patch as I fell asleep waiting for the Great Pumpkin!!
Oh well, maybe he will make to Ontario on the proper date. I'll be waiting for him as usual....cookies, milk & me.
   Enjoyed this!!!
