The love you share is mutual
So much your girls love you
Faces beam with happiness
Whenever you come into view

Your children are first priority
They will always be number one
They love you without question
Together you have so much fun

'tho you don't see them often
Your love remains forever true
They are the centre of your universe
So much joy they bring to you

For your girls you would do anything
You are so kind and sincere
And I'd like to nominate you
To be Father of the Year

I wrote this for a friend named Steve
who has been having a tough time lately,
in the hope that my words might lift
his spirits.

I am in motion
I am blue
Love is an ocean
I'm anchored in you

Sue, it's just beautiful, it should make him feel good, yes.

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Sue, it can be so very hard to let kids grow up and let their roots and wings grow as we can miss them so much, my heart goes to Steve in knowing his children will always love him and he is the best daddy they can ever have! (sigh) God Bless You and him, sweet friend, you are a true angel as he is an angelic father, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sue, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Sue:  A very touching poem!  It's hard on dads and children, when there is a divorce and they don't get to spend much time together. We spent yesterday afternoon with a father and daughter, who only get to spend time together twice a year, for a couple of weeks each time. She is such a "daddy's girl" and he dotes on her. Really sad when they have to part again. Your poem addresses that so well.

Sue, thought I'd take a break from trying to bake and although I read this several days ago, I'm just now able to respond.

Separation between parent and child is always so sad for both. You are very sweet to write this for your friend and to nominate him Father of the Year. I'm sure it will mean a lot to him.

Hugs to you, Marti
