The line at the end,
"Ten Items or Less"
Some people can't count,
LANE ONE IS EXPRESS!

"Ten Items" it reads
But I'm standing behind,
A lady with fifty,
(This should be a crime)

This is the reason
For shoplifters-not buyers
Why else would you shoplift
If you're Wynona Ryder?

ROFL... and a hearty AMEN!!! *G*

Even in grocery stores... or maybe ESPECIALLY in grocery stores... I'm so tempted to teach first grade math to those who think that the signs can't possibly apply to them and their full basket. *G*

Enjoyed this much, sweets!!!

Oh, dear, she certainly did get herself in a pickle!--or is it a jam? From sounds of this poem, I'd have to say it was a Toe jam! lol

Apparently it is the thrill of trying to get away with something (ya, merchandise!) without getting caught!

This was cute, Mr. Toe!

warm hugs,
EA

LOL! You got the right topic here, Toe! I have a real problem with those that know the rules and deliberately flaunt them in yore face. There was a gal in North Carolina once in front of me with a shopping cart so full I expected metal fatigue to make the thing collapse. I just walked around her and got in front. When she asked me what I was doing I told her that she was obviously lost because this was the express line. Poor gal decided to argue so I asked her what was so special about her that rules didn't apply to her? Then I started asking everyone in line if this woman was so special she should be able to break the rules. Then I asked the cashier to broadcast on the store PA system that, if anyone in the store knew a reason why this lady should be able to break the rules please step forward. She finally wheeled the cart out of there and the whole thing must have made her nervous because her middle finger was twitching! I got a lot of pats on the back when she was gone......well, it was a way to spend an afternoon.

Well, it was an express line so I just expressed myself!

haha, the last line is classic.

with the amount of money she's cashing
in, you wonder why she would even need
to steal--crazy woman.

nice read, tish tosh.

You always manage to make me smile. Your wit is much sharper than mine. Do you spend your nights with a wit-sharpener? LOL

I loved this, especially since it was I who inspired it.

WELLLLL sometimes when there really small and all....i do sneak in that line.  BUT, Not at Christmas time....just couldn't get away with it.

Oh, but Wynona Ryder was simply rehearsing a part...haven't you heard????

I wonder what part that was? How to be a Rich & Famous thief maybe.

(big hugggssssssss) Oh Toerag, I'm with you, sweet friend, that was just pathetic to me to see Winoana Ryder so such a thing when she certainly has millions to get what she needed! (sigh) Guess she read express as excess, LOL, this is delightful, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Toerag, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
