Nitro Glycerin

Nitro glycerin rides my thoughts
And my moves are from soft to naught
I dare not shake its liquid hang
To set off my worlds big bang.

She is held in the sleep of night
I dare not move ignite the light
To wake the force that runs a course
A sauce that does not take too coarse

She is my love my snow white dove
Sent me from below or above
It makes no difference, which it is
She is my Isabel my Iz.

I’ve walked the line a long, long time
And still not made this nitro chime
It keeps me quick and slick of head
One step in front of nitro dead

You think it funny, it’s not so
Just one mistake and up I go.

Sey,

Just as I burst out laughing, the line was: "You think it funny......."

Quite a writer, you are. Enjoyed!

Hey you...

'tain't up to us.'

I happen to think that's a pretty good rule too.

grin.

oooh.

need to write to you too.

Do you work in acrylic? It's a rather fast medium for me.

even with that tap tap tapping of the foot.

geez sy, we need to talk, the oils and gels don't pull the same as water base.

oh.

somehow I keep forgetting yer not answering.

I'll shaddup.

But? Was just thinking how your poetry must be much like your art--dabs, dabs, of related color to make a dot matrix of the whole.

OH.

I was gonna shaddup.

heh.

She can only stay mad at the most for one night...
you hold the secret to defusing her with delight.

Nitro packs a punch with its insite of bright ...
but your poetry is pure DYNO-MITE!!

and if the rhymes dont work...try the winkies. *L*

who can resist a wink from Randy?????

Sadly, (and my police record will verify this), nitro ran thru my veins for many years...(along with several other things other than blood)...but, then I diluted it with various types of alcohol and I'm normal now, normal now, normal now, but I still can't write poetry?....Hell, you'd think with a background like mine, I've done nearly everything, legal and illegal, I'd be able to write a simple poem?....Oh well, at least I have enough of a mind left to read stuff like yours......(I understand Balladeer uses glycerin suppositories...ya think that...oh, never mind) (By the way Sy, my son's been on this thing all night...and for some reason I can't get my "Toerag" signed in this morning..so, this isn't by likitysplit...it's by me!!!

serenity,
Hi love, I found acrylic better done with a palette knife. It is a fast drying medium.
I did do some plastic paintimg but it was my own medium I prepared. Plastic on plastic
But that was about 55 years ago and had a   problem, the plasticizer migrated over the years and the surface turned tacky.
But that's another story. LOL  Have a wonderful holiday.

i love how people here can write about
anything. nitro glycerin, ha. this was
catchy and i enjoyed it.

one thing though. you used those phrase
'i dare not--' two times. i think it loses
it substance the second time around.
maybe you should change it to suit. hm.
thats just me though.

cool read.
