Ok God, I need a litte hope.
Could You help me find a way to cope?

I'm thinking God, You'll understand,
And maybe fix up Your Master Plan.
'Cause with the way its going now
My question in all of life is "how?"

I'm not sure just how to survive,
And I don't really want to be alive.
Depend on You is what You say
And then do all I can just to obey.

Well I have, God, you know I've tried;
But I'd rather have given up and died.
Cause things aren't working out too great,
And God, its getting a little late.

Please hurry up, and understand.
I need to find refuge in Your hands.

Hey God, Could You give me some patience too?
Cause, I seem to want to hurry You.
And while You're at it, joy and hope,
And I'll trust You God, to teach me to cope.

(ok this I wrote one time while I was kind of bored, and it was really intended to be a bit humorous.. I was just reflecting past feelings at the time.) Thanks for reading!

GG - good write of feelings. There's always hope, even when one is so far down they feel as if they will never get up...

GG,

I found this interesting and very realistic. That is how many feel and it does seem like He takes us right up to midnight, just before the final disaster destroys, and like a miracle, problem gets solved, as if there had been none. And, some of us forget we even prayed, and some of never see it as a miracle, just would have solved itself anyway....That is how I used to be....
but not any longer. I am so glad to know the difference.

Thanks for this. A great reminder for some of us.

Thank you both for reading, and for your replies!

It really is good to know He never forgets us as we make our pleas and that when things do go right He's the one in control, when they go wrong, He's still got control and we'll grow through it.
