The spirit seeks to manifest this night
a purity which touches one and all,
it filters from the heavens, in the flight
of snowflakes soft descent, to earth they fall

as words which speak of peace, good will towards man,
bring flutter of emotion to the heart
though randomness belies a master plan
to which we all are linked, right from the start.

Re-birth, no more elusive, feel it's touch
as children raise their hands, and slowly melt
whose delicate soft nature is too much,
that at the hand of man a tear is felt.

That hope and peace for all might yet be found
let blanket of pure spirit come to ground.

Ahhhh... once again my old friend has opened his black bag and dispensed a prescription to sooth the soul.  A most excellent read.  Peace to you and yours during these days and all to come.
