so you want me to write of your heart,
hold up my soul
as a mirror to your insides,
dive in your head, spill your guts,
splatter them across the virginal white,
dip my pen in your very core
for the world to view,
before i've even seen your soul's window,
your eyeless eyes,
not yet revealing to me
of your mystery,

while the puzzle of you still unfolds
for now,
piece by piece, slowly
how do i know whats eating you,
before i write your story,
do i finish with doves and bells,
fairydust, misty nights,romantic love,
or finish with a pierced heart,
shot by a poisoned arrow,
in deepening doom now,
unreceptive to
being washed in the clean rain,

how do i know your vision,
your pain, or numbness,
yet you ask me ,
so innocently and compliment my poetry,
and i read in, the wrench that i am,
put on my own spin,
take the challenge,
take the hit that you gave me,
selfishly,
but mainly you see,
im just afraid,
that i may or may not paint,
the masterpiece
that youve requisitioned......

sorry, couldnt resist your inspiration,,,,,,i owe you one

I told a mutual friend of ours the other night that from what I've read of you, that you seem to be "one of us"--

I relate to the edgy reality of your style lady. very much so.

consider me a fan.

inkedgoddess - after reading this poem twice I had to reply with a writing, hope you don't mind...

Write of a heart soft,
a being wandering with
hidden gentle eyes…

Puzzles form mystery,
yet romantic love
sighs deeply inside…

Visions are of tenderness,
caring, but pains have
run deep, slowly passed
onto another time
in space…

Masterpieces need not
be painted, only a
word, or a thought
to inspire a muse
with a romantic pen…

This has the....is there such a thing as "keen bluntness?"
If so, this has it.

As a "mutual friend" remarked, there are some that appreciate an honest reveal.

Good stuff Michelle
