A slow
bathing,
lip smooth run

feathering your being
with
butterfly kisses
of frilly lashes

like sight, unseen
tickling
your flush
delicately,

dazzling us.

And, our alignment
of hips,
as we Eskimo kiss,
heightens bliss,

awakening,

my deepest want
and meeting
your greatest need.

~It's all in the eyes!~

Sigheyes,

Thanks for the reply. Glad you thought it beautiful.

Gemtop,

Thank you for replying. Appreciate it.

Ethel,
I told you I would write it, but
the eskimo and butterfly kisses....
I told you about, well, a baby theme wouldn't work well, so had to get imaginative and spice it up a little....a lot! I knew you'd love it, too. smiling....glad you did, yes, this is indeed ~loving~

ThisDiamond,

Nice compliment. Thank you for taking the time.

Gentle Spirit,

So glad you read and enjoyed. Thanks.

Christian,

A 5-star, from you? Glad you love it.

Enchantress,

Glad you read and for your lovely reply.  Thanks so much.

Hugs to you all, Pat

"feathering your being with butterfly kisses" is one of the original things I've picked out. Good to know that passion is an eternal flame that never burns out. Hope to read more of you.

I'm giving this one to my boyfriend...we had an argument just last week about Butterfly kisses.  He said they were short little peck kisses....and I said NO, they are the fluttering of eyes ...meeting.  *S*

Oh I love being right...and this is the perfect poem to prove it.  Thank You!!!!

Thanks to all who've responded. Glad you like this. Hugs, Pat

Christopher,

The connection between eyes and eskimo kisses would be the face. Tsk !
Being silly.... and love making at it's finest.

Don't quite understand your question and no, I don't think I've heard the song.

It's all in the eyes is in reference to "feathering your being with butterfly kisses", but, also love is telling "in the eyes"....(2 meanings)

An Eskimo kiss is rubbing noses, so short of being too explicit, that would have been next position taken...

Use your own imagination, these two do not have a boring sex life!!!

I could have ended the poem at dazzling us....but, a little too short

the two phrases: butterfly kisses and eskimo kisses were in a conversation that morning I had regardg. my grandson, and I said, "Hey, those two phrases would be great in a poem!" I choose not to write a baby poem....

but incorprated the phrases in an "adult" poem.... Why? Because I wanted to...

Thanks for asking and I hope this explains a little more.....
So glad you read and commented.

Hugs and warm regards, Pat

Salty,

Smiling here. Yes, it is in the eyelashes, swept across skin...like most delicate feathering.....

When my daughter was a small child we always shared "butterfly kisses"...
on our faces....

I've taught my baby grandson to eskimo kiss and he belly laughs every time, and am trying for butterfly kisses on his fat little cheeks but he hasn't gained enough eye control to do it, or quite get it yet......

and if you see note above is how this poem came about. I realized "butterfly kisses" can very much be apart of love making, too.....

Didn't want to write a baby poem. Am tryig to be creative and write from brain not emotion....a baby poem, for one thing, probably would be too sickeningly sweet....cause I do get all gaga over children...smiling here....

Thanks for your reply Pat

Why did I write this. Am trying to write daily....these phrases just a starting point.
