Transition

Transition is a local train
With sorted obstacles and pain.
Some can be a joyous ride
Perhaps the alter with a bride

Transition can be a thought
An idea that you have bought
Or perhaps a change of way
That brings more sunshine to your day.

Some are brought about by sight
It’s called the seeing of the light
Some are dogmas left behind
A weight of yesterday in mind

Some are just simple concessions
Brought about by a confession.
And some are just in growing up
The precious of a buttercup

But I believe transitions bend
To suit the time until the end.

Enjoyed as always
But the stanza:

Some are just simple concessions
Brought about by a confession.
And some are just in growing up
The precious of a buttercup

Just doesn’t sit with me as well as the rest
Probably because of the youthful image of the
Buttercup, and those childish dandelions
(which just became weeds as I grew up)
I might rewrite it

Some are just simple concessions
Brought about by a confession.
And some are just in the growing
The precious views of new knowing.

Call it not critique
But an different view inspired

Gloom

Seymour - I think I have taken this train more than once or twice. But each ride was a lesson on this earth school. Enjoyed. Chris

Interesting concept of life being the ride of a train.  Very unique.  I think that we can all identify with some aspect of this idea.  I enjoyed the read and I thought the piece was well written.  Very good.  Peace.

Yes, transitions bend, blowing in the wind of time, in the preciousness of the youthful buttercup and the commonness of the dandelion......

Gaining beauty and humility, we always changing, becoming all we are meant to be.

Warmest regards, Pat

And then you have those of us who resist change... even when we know it's for good? *G* I liked this very much, Seymour... and wish your transitions to be smooth ones. *S*

(smiles) And transitions are such beautiful things and they are certainly not horizontal, for changes have their special freedom of expression! (sigh) This is wonderful, sweet friend, I love this read, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Seymour, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!
