Listening to every heart

In the Month of Remember

What does it hurt then,
Remembering ~

Seems quite innocent
If we chance upon
A moment

In the month of remember,
A dateless time,
With only a pen to guide us
Only a page to inspire

A moment
Unsurpassed as never before
Or ever will be,
Again.

So I ask you,
What if
We take a lifetime of
Remembers
Encapsulate them
Into this Moment

And make it

A

Life’s span…

Would you love with me there?

~*~

With thanks for the inspiration
to Janet Marie and Martie,
for a poem, and a comment…

I shall never forget.

A lifetime of love held in a month of remember and how beautifully you put it.

Sweet Karilea  (or sweet Caroline).....

This is as beautiful as you are, sweet Sunshine. What would we do without our precious memories?  And to be able to write about them is precious, too.
Thank you, dear friend, for your gift of your wonderful poetry. We all love you, Lady.

Kind of like suppressed files.... I really like this.  Your thoughts and the way you express this.  Made me remember a few things

Said so elegantly,  from a lady.  One who
I shall always remember through my month
of remember,  each year until...

forever!!

I'm there. And what a lovely place to meet.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

beautiful...
you know, I always find it interesting to wonder what exactly the poet writing something was going through at a time, or the exact way they dealt with an emotion ..yea that was off subject.
But anyway, memories are amazing things though.. they can be so hurtful too.
Enjoyed.

What a poem, brought to mind some things to remember, both good and bad...yet happy to have both.  I have read a couple of your poems now and am just awstruck by your talent and expression of words!  Beautiful works once again with this one!
