For my Jason---

Phantasia

Whirling colors of pink and red
bright, soft twinkle lights
trying to speak, but nothing is said
I feel my wings begin their flight.
Cinnamon Apple lingers in the air
white feather-down comforter taunts
strong graceful hands run through my hair
our love is ours to flaunt
Roasted marshmallows from the fire pit
a trail of smoke from your cigarette
a warm cup of coffee is the perfect fit
a symbol of when we first met
Wearing your sweatshirt; I smell your cologne
I cannont eat, I'm stuffed from your love
exchanging each other's past on the phone
You are the answer to my prayers from up above
With you I fell hard; fell something furious
like the magical theories from Asia,
you intoxicate me, you make me delirious
for you are my Phantasia.

I learned in a Philosophy class that Phantasia is the highest sensory perception. From this I was inspired.

I love your imagery! It paints with a brush of talent.

Alana, from one "hopeless romantic" to another, I enjoyed this love poem.
I look forward to reading more of your poetry. Thank you for sharing with us...

This was beautiful Laney... I especially loved the subtle rhyming scheme; it fit nicely with the mood of the poem. Jason's a lucky guy!

The soul would have no rainbows, had the eyes no tears.

A soft answer in the dark, a warm embrace in the chilling night, a shelter from the raging storm.  You are all of these to me and I strive to be your phantasia and the embodyment of all that is love.  For I love you now and forever to be with all of my heart and soul.  You are my soulmate and lighthouse on the raging sea.  May your love allways bring me safe to your arms and may I allways give thee rest in mine...

love allways,
your Jay Baby.

I'm not concieted....I'm convinced
