This fullness is the Long Nights Moon
reflecting from your placid lake
and on the tree ornaments strewn
spinning stars as branches shake

The added light close Saturn brings
illuminates the ponderings
of we who've long been circling
a distant dance of wondering

One month hence a Full Wolf Moon
will blazon when at last we meet
the answers will come swift and soon
to questions that our hearts entreat

RS... this reads as if a riddle is being asked in some ways..and the reader asked to resolve the time and space it exists in..is asked to look below the words into their meaning...

I enjoyed

Aye, like the Captain, I believe
this is riddle laden, or not...
enjoy the swirling of the imagery,
and heard the sounds of the fullest
moon in the shift of night with this...

thank you.

Very interesting write Richard.
Much enjoyed..and yes, it does read like a riddle of sorts.
Well done!

ahhhh, Mr. Wells, a riddle indeed--soon to be solved it seems--enjoyed!!

--and in one month hence a Wolf Moon, a Storm Moon shall light up the night sky--to be followed by a Chaste Moon--which isn't nearly as much fun! tehe

I'll leave any solving of riddles to the other readers. I simply enjoyed the imagery which to me was magical and the kind of poetry I enjoy reading.
