so, now i take it your poetry is made up of things short and sweet--and, theres nothing wrong with that. there is no perfection in poetry, 'cause its based on perception. and i perceive this peice as something written with not enough ink. i think you couldve done more with it. but, like i said--thats just my preference. still, you did a good job with placing your feelings in 3 lines. -chris. |

Ah, Chris,  Thank you for reading my little poem, and for your nice replies (I think?).. Anyway, I appreciate it when people read and respond to my poem. BTW, if you read more of my poems, you'll see that I get VERY long-winded at times, then you may wonder if I'm EVER going to "run our of ink". As far as the way I write, every person who writes in any form whatsoever, writes differently. I see many writers that I would like to be able to write as well as, but it wouldn't be MY writing, then, would it?? What matters to me when I read (or write) poetry is if I can feel something. When I can, it is usually written from the person's heart. Well, I got pretty long-winded there, didn't I, and didn't "run out of ink", either, BTW.......
