There is a Place

There is a place I go to see
Where colors paint a rhapsody
Where the wind blows a symphony
And I’m absorbed but totally.

There is a place within a glen
That gives me measure to the when
That gives me time in grace and peace
At least a temporary lease

It Traces me a mental goal
Where echoes stir a gentle soul
And houses made of ginger bread
Where nothing harsh is ever said.

It turns the mist to sterling clear
It cuts away the cancer fear
It sings to me a lullaby
That drives away the cruel of why.

They say it is a lovely seem
To me it is the human dream.

I'd love to have a gingerbread house.
This sounds as close to heaven as we can get.

Enjoyed ~your place~... Thank You.

Warm regards, Pat

know that place quite well, you've described it beautifully!

Seymour darling man how you manage to write such wonder daily leaves me utterly amazed. Truly exquisite as always I love it utterly utterly utterly

Take me to that place my friend
That waits there at the rainbow’s end
Where dreams lie in wait for me
Where wishes are served up for free
No clouds will cover the sun’s face
And life is lived at leisure’s pace
No tears allowed in sunshine’s state
Where never is heard I’m much too late
Take me to roam around the dream
Where joy is all and laughter seen
Let my face feel the touch of this
Love’s delight and angels kiss
Take me to that place Seymour
And I will live there evermore

Love and warm stuff
As always
Mushy

Breathe through the heat of our desire
Thy coolness and they balm
Let sense be dumb let flesh retire
Speak through the earthquake wind and fire

There is a place... lol.. good poem.. Thanks for sharing.

I wish to become a great poet some day, but it will only come in time. Til then, I shall write my poems, and wait.

I know that place well... It's as close as clicking on Seymour's poetry. *S* This is excellent! *S*
