Have you ever been caught in a room full of rhymes
when everything you said rhymed all the time
and you just about made yourself sick
when someone yells…Look! There is a Tick.

So you look over… to see what is there
and you find a dog that is completely bare
and you ask yourself just how could this be
that a tick could stick on a dog with no hair.

Suddenly the door opens by Fuzzy the bear.
Madder than a mad hare might be
cuz he is the bear that is supposed to be bare
and that dog just does not belong there.

So Fuzzy bends over and sits on bent knee
tells the dog that he has to leave
Go on get up he begs and he pleas
and the dog kind of snarls but finally agrees

So Fuzzy and I go on our way
Rhyming that night and all the next day
I ask Fuzz how we get out of here
He replies dunno but let’s have a beer.

So we go to the pub and we sit on the stool
Here comes the bartender and he sure looks cool
Fuzzy begins to shiver and shake
I ask Fuzz what’s wrong for goodness sake?

He points his finger and said look there
I looked all around and then ask where
He whispers his words in noticeable fear
My God! The bare dog and he works here.!!

I look at Fuzzy and we start to run
This game is beginning not to be fun
I know one of you out there has the key
Look in your pockets and on the TV.

There’s no bathroom here that I can see
The beer’s running through me and I’ve got to …

Just Hurry… please hurry
I beg and I plea!!!!!

ROFLOL I loved it!
I've been trapped in a mind that rhymes all the time...
That room doesn't sound like a great place to be!
Though the stories of others there sure are great. haha still grinning here, keep it up.

Well, Salty(girl)......
I love this. It's so cute and funny.  I like old Fuzzy Wuzzy....

As far as the having to go part, I've been in that predicament before and it's not fun.... I always get tickled about something or other, too and that surely doesn't help.........

Your poem has everything--
All salty and nice!
You perked up my morning
With this sugar and spice.

This tickled my fancy,
I giggled with glee
For I know what you're saying
'Cause this happened to me!

~ Loved this!

happy hugs

Thank you all for coming to see me my friends
Ethel is serving tea with a grin
passing shadows were seen floating
In the hall.
Seymour ate the cookie and became very tall
ecrivan and Connel were singing to
the Blues Serenade
Marti applauded for the show that they gave
Enchantress enchanted us all with her magic
We lost Cpat for a moment it was really quite tragic.
Earth Angel  flew over and sprinkled her dust
Our guardian angel the one that we trust.

Thank you all for entering the looking glass with me

Now if we find GG ….we should find the key.

Salty,
I've been stuck in a rhyme before although it wasn't as funny or as well done as this. I love the fragment thought that you get when you need to go, you portrayed it wonderfully accurately.

Why Thank you Kethry....I consider that a complement.

Now that Ethel is serving tea...we may all be in the same boat.
