* * * *

I thought you were the one
When we started our romance
Your love to me meant everything
But you never gave us a chance

I failed to see the lies
That lay hidden within your eyes
As you played your selfish game
You were a master of disguise

You told me that you loved me
That you'd be faithful, warm and true
But now I've seen your truest colors
And there's no way I can trust you

You played your part so well
Like an actor on the stage
Now your masquerade is over
As I now turn another page

* * * *

This was written as pure fiction,
not about me or anyone else I know.

I am in motion
I am blue
Love is an ocean
I'm anchored in you

Sue,  I do that from time to time also...write of something that is not present... as well as something that may not
have happened...though often times it has
at one point or another...

Bitter feelings of hurt and pain...the
betrayal....  Written very well..

Sue darling girl,  this speaks so clearly of a memory that needs to wrapped and kept away less it hurt the soul. Wonderful writing darling heart utterly utterly wonderful, when you write using your imagination you excel. There was a time, very long ago when this would have applied to me, and you’ve written it beautifully

Somewhere in time there waits a sigh
Waiting softly for its last goodbye
The heart that sits and watches silently
Wishes for a vision with some clarity
But while heart’s memory lingers on
There’s no chance of hearing love’s sweet song
The memory keeps you locked inside
And your heart seeks a place to hide
Open your soul let the memory fade
And you’ll walk in sunshine not in shade

I love this utterly utterly utterly as always YOUR writing is simply perfect

Love and warm stuff
As always
Mushy

Breathe through the heat of our desire
Thy coolness and they balm
Let sense be dumb let flesh retire
Speak through the earthquake wind and fire

yes...there are many who work to master this "skill" and when one gets burned by such it not only can be very painful, but also life changing..

nice work...

(big hugggssssssss) Oh Sue, I'm so glad this is only fictional to you, though it saddens me to see so many others truly being deceived with this sleight of hand! (sad sigh) You say this so well, sweet friend, I send angel hugs out to all who need the strength these holidays, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sue, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Sue:  Very moving poem and I'm glad it is fiction and has nothing to do with your life!
