He speaks and I swear
it takes all my reserve
not to reach over the table
and choke him
Blood may be thicker than wine
but his head is thicker than all
Darwin's theories personified
I cringe at the thought
that I am descended from
his aped logic

hehehe, I'm giggling, and sorry, but this, on the outside looking in, is so much like what my brothers felt for my father. We had many fights over the dinner table...I was about 8 when dad threw a piece of bread up, and it stuck to the ceiling, butter side up...and after just long enough to gain composure, it came down, right onto his head, butter side down.

I think I must have cracked a rib that day, because it still hurts now, as I'm remembering, trying to type this out with tears streaming...I can't stop...

Does cringing help? Darwin never factored in the evolution of human emotions.

LOL at passing shadows reply. Think I've seen that buttered bread routine.

(chuckling).. serious I know...but the humor in having been there done that is just too much for me to not laugh. Laughing was the way I ended up dealing with it...

Inked I'll just send him to you, he's the uber-vampire

Lol passing, no problem it is funny at times, you know when the dust settles my brothers and i make fun of him

Kacy no it doesn't, I once had to leave his place in the middle of lunch, just got up and on a bus went across town just to clear my head. We weren't even arguing he was just sharing his thoughts on the different kinds of house paint

Cpat trust me thats the only way to get through it

Connel just on my mind as christmas approaches

Seymour thanks appreciate the kind words

Mark except Clueseau was loveable when he did that stuff. A shot In the Dark is the best of the of Clueseau, before the Pink Panther theme

Let's put him and my ex husband in a room together.  We can hang them from the monkey bars and let em have at it.
