I walked into a bar,
Sat next to this blonde fox,
Looked her up and down,
Then gandered at my watch.

She looked at me and asked:
"Is your date just running late?"
I said I didn't have one,
I wasn't here to wait.

I said I bought this new watch,
It has telepathy,
It says "You're not wearing panties,
And this I need to see".

She replied with sympathy,
"Your watch is simply wrong,
Because I'm wearing panties,
But it is a tiny thong."

I shook my head in disbelief,
And told my lady friend,
"This stupid watch is one hour fast,
I'll set it back till "then"

ROFL... I'm with serenity... the fingers wanna be BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAADDDDDDDDDDD. LOL

Somehow, methinks you wouldn't need a watch to make such a prediction... but what a pick-up line! LOL

This is great, sweets... thanks for the grins! *G*

I really have to laugh at this one, because I've played music in a lot of bars, and there are always the guys sitting there staring at their watches!!!!   Now I know why!!!!!   What a great write!

Hey Toe - please let me know where I can buy one of those darned Watches.   I am at an age where the type of prediction it does for you would have little meaning, and I have refused to take Viagra since I had a stiff neck when I took the last one (it stuck in my throat!).
I just feel that I should know at least one hour ahead when Sunnyone is going to throw the rolling pin or a dish at me, so that I can slip down to the pub about ten minutes before she throws it !!!
Seasonal Felicitations,
John

Toe, I think the only similarity between you and a watch is you both have ticks!

Toe darling man this was wonderful you got me grinning and that is definitely a bonus I love it utterly utterly. You are a prince of poets to bring the grins you do to these pages

Exquisite writing and the punchline was brilliant

Love and warm stuff
As always
Mushy

Breathe through the heat of our desire
Thy coolness and they balm
Let sense be dumb let flesh retire
Speak through the earthquake wind and fire
