Here we are
in the middle of the end.

We can't move
forward,
because we still pretend.

Are you me,
or,
am I you,
or,
are we one in the same,
          wanting the same,

yet, too afraid to admit it?

When will this
~nothingness~ ever end?

Thanks for the response Richard, and this isn't a current event.

A relationship, dead, yet still too comfortable, to face the reality of moving on, into the unknown, but  both having moved in opposite directions,   where previous love cannot be recaptured.

Warm regards, Pat

(big hugggssssss) My heart goes out to you, sweet friend, this is so very sad and I can understand this frustration and hope you can go on and feel like everything! (sigh) This is touching, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Patricia, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Dearest Dixie,

My impression of your writing leads me to believe that you are still in love and wanting that relationship to work.

This has to do with an old relationship with a man who recently came back into my life, but this was the then and it is the now, in my case. A place never to be gone back to.

I hope this did not cause you any pain or you think I was singling you out.
From what I have read of you, it doesn't remind me of you. Hurry with your next poem, for maybe I've misread. I wish you ever the best that life can offer....your poetry speaks.

Hugs, Pat

Pat, sometimes it takes a long time to get the motion back.

Very nice writing on a sad subject.

Not a very comfortable (or maybe it's too comfortable!) situation to be in.
When you're stuck in neutral, you go nowhere fast!
