The inner Storm

I see the raging water swells
Smell the thunders sulfur smell
Hear the wind that cries in whine
The strikes of rain, the deck of brine

It breaks and washes o’er my head
Turns me white with fear and dread
And rips in awe my saving goal
It taunts and seeks my very soul.

It blows me senseless here and there
Slipping tipping a ship can’t bear
Raging madly till I’m raw
Tears the rigging to the core.

It steers me to abysses ledge
And falters there upon the edge
Rings a prayer in shouts and swears
That offers more then some would dare.

A cast of decisions fate
The truth that lies within in wait

Good morning, Mr. T.!

I certainly hope you had some dramamine before you set sail on those turbulent high seas! I kept picturing you on the slippery deck of that proverbial ship of life and wanting to throw you a life jacket, a life raft, a life line, a life preserver, even some tasty Lifesavers---anything to keep you from sinking into the briny depths.

Seriously speaking, I found this to be yet another brilliantly penned metaphorical sonnet!

yaknow, I think this one, of all you've written, is the one I can best relate to, in a deeply emotional way, for my present circumstances...I enjoyed this very much Seymour.

JM,
My Tinkerbell is not in DisneyWorld
But in a place where minds unfurl.
A place that has no weight or size
Where every moment is surprise.
She lives within your very heart
There is no map or treasure chart.

Seymour darling heart you offer me lines that are written within my soul right now. Each word emblazoned in letters of aching sadness. You really are a superb poet, and write such truth with such clarity and grace.

In truth your words speak my heart
They write the sadness from the start
The ending of a perfect time
When dreamers wish is thought fine
Then the darkness swells within
Now is the time it will begin
The fading of the living light
The shading of my soul to night
All this you write of how I feel
My soul is dizzy my senses reel
Sunlight on my soul is almost gone
No truth but this in sadness song
Written here your words spell me
The pain of soul that summons me

Love and warm stuff
As always
Mushy

Breathe through the heat of our desire
Thy coolness and they balm
Let sense be dumb let flesh retire
Speak through the earthquake wind and fire
