As I look, there afar
At the alluringly mysterious twinkling stars
In the distant deep of skies
That captures the fancy of my eyes,
In my quest for what is true
Something seems, to draw me to you

Appearing like angels, looking down
At the cities of people, all around
Sending messages to whomever would believe
About faith and hope and a wonderful destiny,
Somehow I sense that its all true
As you flash a wink, out there in the midnight blue

But there is darkness, and there is fear
Shine your light, to make all things clear
Tell the story, of God's infinite wisdom and love
That reaches out to us, from heaven above,
Put my trust in Him, thence I pray
May my prayer be heard, in your Kingdom so far away
Receive me and bathe me, in Heaven's effervescent glow
Oh, tender of my heart, watcher over my soul
