Lord, our hands are aching
from this heavy plow
Planting precious seeds
of life by faith
as you taught us how

Our heart's are breaking
This world keeps taking
even the sweat
from off our brow
But for Your Mercy,
for Heaven's sake,
for the Cross we will endure

ch:
And He said...
they who sow in tears
shall reap in joy
Blessed are My children
who rejoice
Tho' the pain is streaming
from their eyes
they lift My Name
above their cries
yes, they who sow in tears
shall reap in joy.

Lord, we sing to You our Savior
from beneath our heavy load
because we've known Your Mercy
And by Your grace we will come Home

And though our weeping
pours like rain
through the whole night long
to You we'll bring the harvest
when Your Day Star
brings the dawn

Ch.
For You said...
They who sow in tears
shall reap in joy
Blessed are My children
who rejoice
Through pain still streaming
from their eyes
they bless my Name
above their cries
yes, they who sow in tears
shall reap in joy.

Bridge:
Come let your heads be lifted up
You've tasted of My bitter cup
I've come to heal your wounds
and dry your eyes

I heard your offering mixed with pain
I saw you trusting in My Name
I sing to you, Bride of the Lamb
I give you everything I AM.

Chorus.

A delightful piece; loved the message and biblical reference (Psalm 126:5); wonderfully written!

Logic, when applied to people, fails miserably! --Joseph J. Breunig 3rd
