God cradles me to sleep at nightht
When my heart wants to give up the fight
I remember how my life used to be
Praying in the moon light of night on my knee’s
I once had a broken spirit you see
That when Standing Buffalo used to hold me
I thought that no hope was in store for me once he died
I drank, lied, even cried doing the wrong kinds of stuff you see
Making a horrific person out of me
Then one day I quit my ways and looked up
Seeing Gods light I became free
Perhaps the act of God’s love edified my soul
I felt it in my heart God was making me whole
Sometime that ole me tries’ to come back
It is then that I pray I’m under Spiritual Attack.
Pain wells up from my stomach to my throat
I cry out to Jehovah and God’s Angels embrace me
God cradles me to sleep at night
When my heart wants to give up the fight
God holds me in his arms once again
All my fears vanish increasing my faith
I can see the Celestial Kingdom paved with Golden Roads
Awaiting those who believe in his light and love
So keep Praying and God will cradle you to sleep at night
Pray in the morning until late at night
God will increase your faith make you believe
