Who?

Who holds us, each one, dear
and tells us of His Love?
Who spoke the cosmos into space
and holds each star above?
Who wrote our names in Heaven
within that Special Book?
Who overcame the curse of shame
and God, Himself, forsook?
Who is our Lord and Saviour?
Who is our God and King?
Who is The One upon The Throne
of whom the whole earth sings?
Who plots the course of nature
and knows each sparrow’s fall?
Who hears our voice when we rejoice
and to our knees we fall?
Who tells us that He loves us?
Who tells us we are His?
Who came to us? Who sets us free
to live because He Lives?
Who is our Mighty God?
Who is our Truth, our Way?
Who is the Light that shines so bright
and guides us though our day?
Who is this One named Jesus
to whom, alone, remains
so many fond expressions felt
that books could not contain?

God bless,
Lighthouse Bob

Oh, and who is this Poet who honors Him with love filled words? He is a beacon on this Earth!

Yes, just so. Love flows so abundantly in and between your beautiful words, dear Bob.

Thank you for this.
Always a joy to find you posting.

Love,
Margherita

A lovely piece; it's truly amazing when we stop and recognize the many blessings we have in Christ - more than we can ever count! --Joe

Who guides my steps while I wander aimlessly in cyberspace...
It must be Him, it is Him, who has led me back to this once my favorite poetry forum with fine, sensitive, appreciative poets..

And leading me to read this lovely, inspiring, poem. Thanks for sharing, Bob.

Bob, Dear Bob---
This is such a wonderful probing and affirmative Faith-Based/ Love-borne/ Praise-producing piece!
Like a quote from the Bible--"Who is the Lord  that I should obey his voice?--This wonderfully answers and illicits our react/response and submission to such a One.

Wonderful!  PRAISE THE LORD!

I thank the LORD everyday
He has given me something to say
And to share with others,
My Friends, my sisters, my brothers!

To God Be the Glory!
