Lost, Lonely, And Ready. My mind is lost and lonely, Like the desert! it is forgotten, Only time will know when it is right, For me to be in heaven, I sit amongst the shadows, Not knowing what I shall become, My heart is broken in peaces, My dreams? I have none, I look out, towards the open sky, I pray that my soul will rest, A long time I have waited, I think I have past the test, My eyes grow dim and heavy, My limbs grow week and stiff, My body is limp and tired now, It no longer wants to live, So I will rest, here awhile, And take the time of day, Resting up against this rock, Until God takes my soul away, Annie. 29/06/2006 |

Another sad sad write, dear Annie. God might decide instead to shower you with His infinite Love and fill your soul to the brim with it, so that you will be able to LIVE in joyful awareness again.
