This isn't really a poem. It's more like a question. I'm going through a tough time right now and I have been for all of my life. I'm not really on good terms with God right now. I just keep thinking of the question: did God make me suffer? I know that's probably a pretty pointless question to some people, but does God care about me? I know that He does everything for a reason and this might make me stronger, but it doesn't seem like it right now. What do you think I should do? TJ [&] she's a blood broken rose |

Per your conversation that you're going through a tough time right now and that you have been for all of your life and that you're not really on good terms with God right now, I think, perhaps, what may help you the most is knowing that God never intended to be so very very distant from you. He's always loved you and he's always loved you just the way you are, he created you, and he's always wanted to be a Father to you. That's why, sometimes, we, who know him and have a relationship with him, call him, Father, but, even more intimate than that, he longs to be and he longs for us to know him and call him Daddy. Daddy. Perhaps, in your life, you don't really know what a Daddy's all about right now because you've not experienced one or you've not experienced the true love that a daddy has to offer, but, know this, my poet friend, your Father in Heaven, your Daddy (Your Daddy), Loves You Very Very Much and he does (he does) care that you are going through a tough time and that you are hurting and that you've been hurting for a long time, and know for certain (for certain) when you're hurting, your Daddy hurts too. You're Not Alone. He loves you. He really really really does. God bless you, my friend, and I hope that today, Valentine's Day, or, perhaps, in the near future you will truly truly know what True Love is and that you will truly truly understand what it means to be Daddy's little girl, Love in Christ, -Bob |

Lighthouse Bob is so right. I went through many lost sad years, so I relate to your feelings. The only way I know of to truly know God's love and be close to Him, is for you to talk to Him. Tell Him what troubles you most and why you feel He's just not there. Tell Him how you want to feel about Him, close and loved. Seek Christian support through bible reading and/or church members or pastor. God is there waiting for us to come to Him. God bless you, Rae |

i ask myself this question everyday. the only thing i can say is, you have friends and they care about you so try to think about them. i doesn't help me much. but its helped my little sister. And you have people here on PIP.
