I woke this morning and knew Love was gone,
the air was quite different than all of our other days.

Took me so by surprise and left me so lost inside,
so I went to my one true love.

We spoke for hours and I cried so many lonely tears,
shedding pains of my heart.

When I was done my heart had been lifted and my peace returned,
for his love will always be just a flash away.
