The Father’s Business

All God’s business will be done, whether by many souls or just one,
For all that The Father has willed, shall through The Son, be fulfilled.
And it is part of God’s Plan, to fill His purpose using common man,
Headed up by Jesus Christ, He works in and through believers lives.

The Church Christ said He would build, will continue on till it is filled,
Filled with men bought at a price, with the blood of God’s Sacrifice.
Being about His Father’s business, wasn’t for Him, always painless,
Of the work Christ had to do, was to die at Calvary for me and you.

Christ always sought His Father’s will, during His earthly life up until,
He finished the work on the cross, to redeem a world of sinners lost.
Leaving His grave an empty shell, victorious over the powers of Hell,
But, before returning to His Throne, He passed on a task to His own.

Continue to do The Father’s will, while His Church He continues to fill,
And sending us His Spirit of power, all for this present day and hour.
With the task, The Great Commission, the Church’s only true mission,
Sent out in power and might, to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

We have all of the power we need, to plant for Jesus Kingdom seed,
Which The Lord can harvest friend, when the Age of Grace does end.
With the time so possibly short, when believers, before Christ, report,
Our time today we need to spend, about our Father’s business friend.
