THE ANTONYM OF ME

My heart screams I'm sorry,
as I fall short of your glory.
You've already heard my story.
(My depravity meets Your divinity)

I run to you, just to fall at your feet,
and my sins, my sins watch me leave.
Tears running down my cheeks.
(I'm trading my armor for Your crown)

Grace and love, transcending reality,
unearned, but lasting eternally.
You are the antonym of me.
(I walk alone no more)

Steve,

I've been here before at this place in your poem with "tears running down my cheeks" and, yes, at times I too have felt very very much alone as I also forgot that God did tell us that He would never ever leave us nor forsake us. So, my friend, it's very very true ... yes ... You Are Not Alone!!!

God bless you and thank you for sharing and for being so very very open here.

-Bob
