"The New Jerusalem"
Upon the streets of paradise
Across the sky, glows a rainbow
Someday soon, may it be

In continuum of youth's innocent vision
Palaces of pure gleaming gold
Upon a crystal sea

And music of the heavenly spheres, reverberating
Like cathedral bells that chime
Is heard forever into eternity

And they shall come, all that labour
and are heavy laden
Begotten of God, since the dawn of time
To live in God's Kingdom of everlasting peace

And there will be no more death, pain or sorrow
The gift of the promise, true believers will inherit
And the angels sing of the glory

As the New Jerusalem, comes down out of
God's Heaven
Behold, all things are become new,
born of spirit
Transparently pure, Divine and Holy

A river of crystal pure waters, proceeds
out of the Throne
In the midst of the City, the Tree Of Life
Chldren of God, living in supreme joy

And love will be the universal dictum
And the Lord God will be our Eternal Light
And the truth shall reign eternally

Upon the streets of paradise
In the distance out yonder
I can clearly see

People sharing and walking in tandem
Beyond the specter of the centuries into forever
Someday soon, it will be...Amen
