The Greatest Song of All Songs

The ones who wrote the great book of God
The Holy Bible
is each a hero, a prophet, a man inspired by The Spirit.

Every verse has the purity of a prodigy child,
for it speaks beyond its age,
before its time, above its place
outside of its essence.
And every chapter contains the wisdom of age
within the simplicity of truth
for it is deeper than its meaning, greater than its dimension,
more significant than its words, more eloquent than its phrase.
It is beyond itself just as a spirit is beyond a man,
taking on some form of poetic shape, yet
unrestricted in aesthetic depth.

It clings to the Truth
like the porcelain skin of a statue
clings to the form of a man

Oh, how the magnificent artist must be rejoicing
to know that this Masterpiece is so revered,
and that His Truth, His Holy Truth
has been so honored,
that the mirror-shadow of himself
has been put to soundless music

What greater esteem could be extended
to the unseen Spirit of God,
than a statue made in His likeness
a Book of verses, a Holy Book,
that is a living testimony to His Love,
the most exquisite writing of all ages,
the greatest song of all songs

God looks into your eye, dear poets,
and even in His magnificence,
He is content in knowing
that in the beauty of your hearts,
you have written His Word,
the Holy Word as He revealed it to you,
and in doing so, have crowned Him the Maker of Life
the Giver of Love, the Prince of Peace
and the King of all Kings

ES,
This is truly a faith based, majestic read--that is so eloquent in it voice and veracity.  I especially like the words, "Every verse has the purity of a prodigy child, for it speaks beyond its age,
before its time, above its placeoutside of its essence."
Wonderful expression of faith and your conviction.
  David

I thank the LORD everyday
He has given me something to say
And to share with others,
My Friends, my sisters, my brothers!

To God Be the Glory!
