THE TIME IS NOW!

PLEASE DON'T WAIT!

ACCEPT JESUS NOW!

TOMORROW MAY BE TOO LATE!

JUST LOOK ALL AROUND!

THE WORLD IS FALLING APART!

ACCEPT JESUS NOW!

REPENT AND ASK HIM INTO YOUR HEART!

YOU MAY NOT HAVE ANOTHER CHANCE!

ONLY GOD KNOWS THE DAY AND THE HOUR!

ACCEPT JESUS NOW!

NO ONE IS PROMISED TOMORROW!

Stacey,

Though I'm sooooo very very happy and blessed to be found in Him, you have expressed here a very deep urgency for all of those who have not yet accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.

Again, your message here was very well executed.

God bless,

-Bob

You brought the message that everyone should heed.  We certainly do not know how much time we have to tarry here.  Joyce

Since you said that you have personal relationship with Jesus, then tell me why he came to the world as a servant, not as a king?

Beware that you might wrongly claim "God"'s name if you said you post where ever He wants you to post.

You are very pleased with who supported you. Do you know that whom you should care  are those who do not understand you? Jesus came here is for the sinner not the righteous one.
think about it. You may post your poem anywhere but show some humbleness as Jesus has showed to this world.

Jesus came to the earth as The Son Of God! He is not or was not a servant! He came here to save the sinners, which is all of mankind! Whether you believe me or not is totally up to you, but Jesus Christ talks to me! If you don't believe me, that's fine! You have the right to believe what you want! God gives everyone a free will! He leads me in the direction He wants me to go, and I try to listen to Him! He does talk to His people, we just have to be quiet and listen to Him! God bless you always,
Stacey

Hello! First of all, I want to ask you to forgive me for one thing. I was wrong about Jesus being a servant. It says in Matthew 22-28:
FOR EVEN THE SON OF MAN CAME NOT TO BE SERVED BUT TO SERVE OTHERS AND TO GIVE HIS LIFE AS A RANSOME FOR MANY.
The next time He comes back, He will be coming back as the King Of Kings and Lord of Lords. He will judge the earth!
Everything else I wrote about Jesus Christ talking to me IS TRUE! He really does. I am not the only one who hears His Voice! Again, please forgive me for saying the wrong thing earlier! I'm not perfect!
God bless you always,
Stacey

My dear Stacey,
If you read carefully  the poems and poets there in #40, you will know that many of them are Christains and all of them, I say, are very kind people. And if you believe that absolute beauty is from God, then you know what they are exchanging. Those beautiful poems are flowing from those pure kind hearts. There is nothing wrong with your poem and your preaching, only the place and the time. If you are talking with friends or having a party or having a meal in restarant with family members, some one comes in and shouts out "sinner, you have to repend!" I would not feel comfortable. And you might just scare away the one that you want to save.

Love you
many hugs
and I surely admire your courage.

I find it appropriate to expres your feelings through poetry any place at any time, after all isn't poetry the freedom of aesthetic expression? I admire your exuberance in this poem. I often tend to be too reserved, sometime to the point of being boring, and you have no reservations in your writing.
Thank you
Liz

You are absolutely right, Liz.

Drauntz, the Open forum is just that....open to all forms of poetry, the only exceptions being that, should a poem fall into the adult category or the announcement category it will be moved to the appropriate forum.

The open forum is also used to comment on how well the author plied his craft in using skills or imagination his/her creation, not to go into a debate on the poem's content. As you well know, we have discussion forums for that.

No, I would not be comfortable going to dinner with someone who kept pushing Jesus is great! into the conversation at every opportunity but, then, if I knew beforhand that the person would be doing that, I simply would not accept the dinner invitation in the first place. This particular poet has a passion he wishes to support by posting his work here. He is inviting you to read and you have no obligation to do so. Those who want to read it, will. Those who feel it is our of line or out of place need not bother. I can assure you no thick-necked German named Bruno will show up at your door demanding to know why you didn't read his poem.

The management here finds that it is not inappropriate to have these poems in Open and we ask that you respect that.

Go read Matthew 10:42. Jesus said He came to serve. That's a servant. He expects us to be the same. Revember He took a towel and washed the disciples feet. That's a servant. He was a carpentar. That's a service business. He was all about being a servant. Remember by the sea of Galilee he prepared the disciples breakfast. If He was willing to die as a common criminal I'm pretty sure He wasn't concerned about being considered a servant. Afterall, He came to serve and to die.

Balladeer is doing his job, Drauntz. Unless you want to learn how easily tornadoes can be quelled around here, you might want to listen for a change. If that isn't clear enough, please, allow me to make it as simple as possible.

Back off.

Stacey,
With apologies, I peek in once in a while during a quick break at work and didn't take time to read the whole thread. Sorry.

I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.
