God’s Spoken Word There remain people everywhere, upon this earth who are unaware, Of the things that were spoken of, by The Lord who reigns above. Words spoken by God long ago, and written down for all to know, The very nature and will of God, for direction upon the earthly sod. Many too, are not unaware, but regarding God they just don’t care, They just choose to live their life, with no regard for God or Christ. Thinking little of what God said, while they deny His Word instead, Tempting others to follow suite, as God’s Word they simply refute. Friend be it ignorance or choice, all men soon will grieve or rejoice, When God’s final lot is cast, bringing light to His words of the past. The Word of God, some dismiss, will echo from that Eternal abyss, Well after they shake fists at God, while on this present earthly sod. The Eternal words God had spoke, they’ll find were not at all a joke, They’ll come to the conclusion; they were misled by strong delusion. While all of those who had believed, and God’s Word they received, Were granted by God Eternal Life, through God’s Son, Jesus Christ. With the task to share God’s Word, in this world until all have heard, To help all men from every race, come to Truth in this Age of Grace, Guiding every tribe and each nation, to the Word of God’s Salvation, So in the written Word they see, God’s spoken Word spans Eternity. Bob, Your poem is very inspirational, as is God's Word. I liked the inspired imagery that resulted from my reading your line... quote: It was like looking into Heaven and seeing every Tribe and Nation washed in the Word of God's Salvation standing pure and white before the Throne of God.
